ClimateQUAL: Organizational Climate and Diversity Assessment is an online survey that collects information about staff perceptions concerning their library’s (a) commitment to the principles of diversity, (b) organizational policies and procedures, and (c) staff attitudes.
This instrument contains a series of questions designed to understand how organizational procedures and policies affect staff perception of service quality in a library setting. The survey addresses a number of climate issues, such as diversity, teamwork, learning, and fairness, as well as current managerial practices, and staff attitudes and beliefs. The survey asks respondents to answer questions about individual identity issues as well as their team or work unit.
Libraries use these data to improve their organizational climate and diversity culture for delivering superior services to the communities they serve.
